Robert MacCormack, Sr.
MacCormack Plumbing, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Robert MacCormack, Sr. The Company was established with a Truck, a Tool Box and a Vision. For years, virtually every aspect of the company was handled by either Bob or his wife, Marie. MacCo’s reputation became synonymous with Customer Service.
In the mid 1980’s, Bob’s brother Doug began working for the company. Together they would team up and collaborate on many challenging endeavors over the next few decades. After dedicating himself to the company and pleasing many long-term clients, Doug retired from MacCo in 2012.
During the 1990’s, Bob was able to secure various Multi-Unit renovation and service contracts. Bob remained at the forefront of the company while continuing to focus on providing superb service to our growing list of repeat customers. Due to successful efforts and strategic planning, MacCo continued to expand in both personnel and client satisfaction.
Breaking into the 21st Century, Bob’s vision of growing his family business was quickly becoming a reality. His two sons, Bob, Jr. and Stephen, began getting more formally involved in the mechanical trade. After graduating from Curry College with a Business Management degree, Stephen began working full-time for the company. Bob Jr. launched Avid Engineers, a full-service MEP/FP Consulting Engineering firm in 2005. Avid instantly became a valued resource to MacCo and remains a close affiliate to this day.
After years of flying under the radar, MacCo continued to thrive through its Renovation and Service backgrounds. With their many loyal customers, MacCo’s opportunities began to broaden. MacCo quickly became known as an industry leader in the New Construction market in both Multi-Unit Residential and Commercial Plumbing and Mechanical services.
In 2013, after dedicating himself for nearly 40 years to MacCo, Bob began concentrating his efforts on other ventures. He is now spending more of his time on his Golf Courses and Development Company, Keystone Builders; which focuses on new residential and commercial properties. While reaping the benefits of his hard work and success he has been afforded the opportunity to spend more time at his homes on Lake Winnipesaukee and in Florida with his children and grandchildren.
Bob can rest assured knowing that the legacy he envisioned and created will continue and is in safe hands.
