Merrimack Valley Relief Project

MacCo MechanicalUncategorizedMerrimack Valley Relief Project

As most people are aware, there were explosions that occurred on September 13, 2018 as a result of an issue with underground natural gas. This had a devastating effect on much of our community, and numerous residents of the Merrimack Valley have been displaced. Addressing and repairing the damage in the aftermath of this event is a complex and evolving process. MacCo Services, which is headquartered within the Merrimack Valley, felt compelled to help and immediately dispatched a large crew in an effort to aid Columbia Gas and Gilbane Building Company in providing relief throughout the Merrimack Valley. These workers, many who live in the Merrimack Valley, have been going house-to-house testing all interior gas piping and gas-fired appliances in the affected areas. Just recently, MacCo has been given the task of critical replacements of heating and hot water heating equipment. MacCo, and our team of dedicated workers, have been working 12-hour days, 7 days per week in an effort to get as many families back to normalcy as quickly as possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to provide reassurance to those who were affected, and to accelerate the process of moving people back into their homes safely.

Please like and share this post to help us reach as many people as possible, and follow us for further updates as we progress through the restoration process.

Thank you,
MacCo Services
